FAQ
Do I need to already use FreeAgent or Mettle?
No. We’ll set everything up for you as part of onboarding — including FreeAgent (via Mettle) and linking your business bank account.
Can you handle payroll too?
Yes. Payroll is available as an add-on from £20/month (up to 2 employees). If you’re scaling with more staff, we’ll set up the right payroll process to keep you compliant.
What if I have more than one director?
The Flow plan includes Self Assessment for one director. Extra directors can be added for £99/year each.
How does the quarterly check-in work?
You’ll meet (online) with your accountant every quarter to review performance, cash flow, and tax position — so you’re always planning ahead, not scrambling at year-end.
What happens if I outgrow the Flow plan?
If your company scales past £250,000 turnover or needs more strategic input, you can upgrade to our Virtual Finance Team — giving you finance director-level support without hiring in-house.
Do you help with funding or investment?
Yes. Through our partner Swoop, you’ll have access to grants, loans, and funding opportunities — included with your Flow plan.
Are you fully MTD compliant?
Absolutely. Flow includes MTD-compliant VAT returns and digital submissions to HMRC, so you’re always ahead of the rules.
