Short. Buzz Accounting is an accountancy firm for owner-managed businesses, with offices in Greater Manchester, Hertford, London and Northern Ireland and a production team in Pretoria. It combines accounting, tax and payroll with management accounts, advisory and business coaching, on a fixed monthly fee.
Longer. Buzz Accounting started as an idea of Andy Jackson's, in Manchester; he builds professional-services businesses and has bought and integrated accountancy firms. He founded it in 2023 with Peter Allen, an accountant with more than twenty years' experience. Manchester, Hertford and London were all part of the firm from the start. The firm was started to work with owners through the year rather than at the year end: clean numbers every month, a named accountant, management accounts and a regular meeting about what to do next, and coaching for the owner as well as the business. It builds its own software, Buzz OS, which runs the firm and gives every client a portal and an app. Buzz Accounting Ireland operates from Ballymena and is the group's largest base. Sister brands cover business coaching, personal money coaching, legal support and, through a regulated partner, financial planning.
