Tax dates

31 May 2027: Give employees their P60

Every employee on the payroll at 5 April 2027 must have their P60 for 2026/27 by 31 May 2027.

Who it applies to

Is this you?

Every employer, including a company whose only employee is its director.

What has to happen

The detail

The P60 summarises the year's pay and deductions. Payroll software produces it after the final submission of the year; Buzz issues them through the payroll to the employee portal or by email.

If you miss it

What it costs

HMRC can charge a penalty for failing to provide P60s, and employees need them for mortgage applications, tax returns and benefit claims. Source: gov.uk and Companies House guidance, checked September 2026.

What to do

Now

If Buzz runs your payroll, nothing: they go out automatically. If you run it yourself, generate them from your software after the year-end submission.
