Ask about advisory

Ask about management accounts, forecasts and funding

Thirty minutes with the person who runs Buzz's advisory work: management accounts, budgets, cashflow forecasts, and what a lender or investor will want to see. No charge, and a straight answer on whether you need any of it yet.

What people ask

The questions this call is for

  • Whether you need management accounts yet, and monthly or quarterly
  • What a cashflow forecast would tell you that the bank balance does not
  • What a lender will ask for, and how to have it ready before you apply
  • How to read the numbers you already get, and which ones to watch
  • What Business Pulse involves and whether your bookkeeping is ready for it
  • Whether a fractional finance director, a virtual finance team or a better bookkeeper is the right next step
How it works

Three steps

  1. 1
    Book a slot

Pick a time on the booking page. It asks for your name, email and what you want to talk about, so the right person picks it up.

  2. 2
    Talk to an adviser

Thirty minutes by video call or phone, or in person at one of our offices if you are near one. Bring the actual numbers or letters if you have them; a rough version is fine.

  3. 3
    Leave with an answer

A plain answer to the question you brought, and where a next step exists, what it is and what it would cost. Nothing is started unless you ask.

What it is not

So nobody is surprised

  • Regulated financial advice on investments, pensions or protection: this is business advisory, and Buzz is not FCA-authorised. We introduce clients who need regulated advice to Equity & General
  • Arranging finance itself: funding introductions go through Buzz Money and its lender panel, and the call is where that starts

If it is the right time, Business Pulse is the usual next step: a budget, a rolling forecast, management accounts and a meeting every month or quarter. If it is not, you leave with the two or three numbers to watch until it is.
