Part of the Buzz family

Meet Buzz Coaching.

Buzz Accounting is part of a wider Buzz family. Buzz Coaching helps business owners think better, lead better and build a business that doesn't need them for everything.

The owner problem

Your business shouldn't need all of you, all the time

Most business owners don't need another motivational speech. They need space to think, someone to challenge the messy bits, and a rhythm that turns decisions into action.

Buzz Coaching is practical, grounded and commercially aware — built from the same practical world as Buzz Accounting: owner-led businesses, real numbers, real pressure, real people, and the need for action that actually happens.

You need headspace

The business keeps running, but your mind never really clocks off.

The Buzz model

Building towards three freedoms

Financial freedom — more control over profit, cash and the commercial decisions that shape the business. Time freedom — less dependency on you for every approval, answer and daily firebreak. Mind freedom — more clarity, confidence and calm because priorities and next steps are visible.

Common questions about Buzz Coaching

Is this the same thing as Buzz Accounting?

No. Buzz Coaching is a sister brand — same wider Buzz family and the same people behind it, but a separate coaching business with its own site, booking and programmes. That matters practically: a separate engagement, separate fees and its own terms. If what you want is coaching that sits alongside your accounting with the numbers already visible in the room, Buzz Accounting's own coaching is the version to look at instead. Both exist deliberately, and which is right depends on whether you want the accounting relationship involved.

Do I need to be a Buzz Accounting client?

No. Buzz Coaching takes on clients independently and plenty of them have never spoken to the accountancy practice. The only thing being an accounting client changes is that the coach can see current figures rather than working from your description of them, which sharpens any conversation about pricing, margin and whether a hire is affordable. If you would rather keep your accountant and your coach entirely separate, that is a legitimate preference, it costs you nothing here, and nobody will try to move your accounting across as a condition of the coaching.

How is this different from a generic business coach?

It is built from the same world as the accountancy practice — owner-managed businesses, real numbers, real pressure — so sessions work from margin, cash and capacity rather than from a framework. The blunter answer is that business coaching is an unregulated field with no barrier to entry, and a good deal of it consists of confident generalisation. The questions worth asking any coach, including this one: what have you actually run, what happens if I do not do the actions, and can I speak to someone you have worked with for over a year.

What does it cost?

Programmes are quoted directly by Buzz Coaching, as a fixed fee agreed before you start rather than an hourly rate. Because it is a separate business, the fees and terms are theirs rather than ours, and they are set out on their own site and in the initial conversation. What we would say about the commitment side: coaching bought for a couple of months rarely changes anything, because the first month is diagnosis and the second is when the uncomfortable actions get set. Judge the price against six months, not against one session.

Which programme is right for me?

1:1 Business Coaching for direct challenge on priorities and decisions. Strategic Growth for offer clarity, pricing, profitability and reducing owner dependency. Leadership Coaching where the business has grown and your role now needs to change — delegation, difficult conversations, being less of a bottleneck. Accountability Coaching where you already know what needs doing and consistently do not do it. The most common mis-selection is buying strategy when the actual problem is follow-through, which is an expensive way to receive advice you will not act on.

What if I already work with an accountant elsewhere?

Then nothing changes. Buzz Coaching does not require you to move your accounting, will not ask you to, and works perfectly well alongside whoever does your books — the coach just needs access to reasonably current figures, which your existing accountant can provide. If those figures are months behind, that becomes the first thing to fix, and it is worth raising with your accountant rather than treating it as a coaching problem. Coaching from unreliable numbers builds confidence in the wrong direction.
